Instant Gratification

I had every intention of working on my One Color Challenge quilt today... and probably needed to since it seems to be taking quite a little bit of time. Instead I made the decision to start AND finish a project in one day. Just for the satisfaction of it. Sheer instant (well, okay a few hours) gratification.
The project I had in mind? Cute little quilted MaryJane baby shoes from a pattern I picked up at the Ice House Quilt Shop in Grayling last week. So adorable and fun to make!

A mid-project supply run to the local JoAnn Fabrics brought a surprise. Check out this truck I saw in the parking lot. A fellow quilter... spreading the love :)
